New touchscreen formats and functions
Version 5.0 introduces a new screen format that optimizes the speed of operation and provides a new common base for Retail and Restaurant solutions.
The menu presents options with larger and clearer typography .The user can choose to see the panel of products for touchscreen selection or a larger and more complete list of the details of the sale in progress.
In this version the speed of operation of the point of sale has been optimized, achieving improvements of between 20 to 50% in response time.The numeric keypad can be permanently superimposed on the main screen or hidden to access additional menu options to the right of the screen.
NEW ACCESS AND AUTHORIZATION INTERFACE
On the new version, there is a new login window.
The authorization of operations have also been transformed into a separate window where the type of operation to be carried out and the level of authorization required to approve it is informed.
NEW INTERFACE OF MESSAGES
A new way of presenting error messages has been defined, where the operator is informed in a separate window with a larger and clearer typography.
The way the system requests information in any of the operations that require the entry of a single data such as the number of table cutlery has been improved.
A new message has been added at the closing of the sale indicating the total of the transaction and the change that must be delivered to the client during the recording and printing of the transaction. This window remains visible 5 seconds after finishing the last operation.
TIPS INCOME ON DEMAND
It was added to the CheckOUT Restaurant product, for Pro or higher versions, the functionality to enter the tip amount only when required by the transaction at the operator's choice with a new tip button on the payment entry screen.This window additionally allows to apply pre-assigned fixed percentages , which in turn can be defined by the operator.
BUTTONS TO SET QUANTITY, PRICE AND DISCOUNT
Added to the menu bar, on the entry of sales products, three buttons that allow modifying the number of items to be sold, the sales price or applying a percentage discount to a certain item. All these operations are still control points and if the system is configured , it will request the corresponding supervisor authorization before continuing.
NEW EASY VERSION
A new Easy version has been incorporated as an entry level below the existing Lite, Pro and Enterprise versions.This product is offered in two formats , CheckOUT POS Easy and CheckOUT Restaurant Easy, for customers who want only a minimum functionality of point of sale operation for retail or restaurant.
The Easy version allows operation only with the existing functionality at the point of sale without access to the Backoffice.Allows basic inventory management, composition formulas and product costs.
The installation process for the Easy version is even more simplified and contemplates a very fast start-up of the point of sale.
SHIFT CLOSURE REPORTS DISTRIBUTION BY EMAIL
It has been incorporated to all the versions of the point of sale have the possibility of sending the closing information of a point of sale at the time of the shift closure to one or more email addresses.
You can also associate several sales, payment methods and inventory reports that are exported and attached to the aforementioned email.
NEW VISUAL PRESENTATION IN THE BACKOFFICE
Version 5.0 introduces a new combination of colors and fonts for the graphic presentation of the Backoffice administration program.The visual aspect was modified to make the administration environment more pleasant and easy to operate.
